Vinnie has three ex-wives. After ex-wife number three he just stopped dating. One day, when he was working a job for a gay couple he began to realize that maybe he was gay. He fought it. Finally he decided to visit a gay bar and see how things went. Just as he was about to leave, Trey walked up to him. And so it begins. The non-dating (because Vinnie's not gay) with Trey, until they are dating.I enjoyed this story. It was sweet and wonderful and all the things new love, first loves should be. I loved how Ms. Cullinan dealt with coming out and the fears involved with that. I also found it sweet that even though Vinnie was not a virgin, it was his first time with a man. It was sweet and wonderful.
This was a pretty straightforward love story. There was some emotional turmoil in dealing with Vinnie coming out, and Trey's mother.
My biggest problem was the switching of POV between Trey and Vinnie. I also got frustrated because once I got used to the switching POV in first person, she would switch to third person. Every time that happened I would be jolted out of the story.
